About Us

The 3 Boys

Time for Peace was inspired by the energy and unity that flowed throughout the global Jewish community in the aftermath of the horrendous kidnapping and murder of three Israeli youths in June 2014.

As the Jewish people held their collective breath hoping for the safe return of Naftali Frankel, Gilad Schaer, and Eyal Yifrah, the level of Jewish unity and volunteerism was unprecedented.

From heartfelt prayers and donated supplies, to offerings of people’s time and energy, the search for the three boys showed the Jewish Nation its amazing potential to come together when needed; a demonstration of what we can achieve when we overcome division and unify.

In the aftermath of the summer of 2014, people were eagerly seeking out a framework that would allow this movement of increased Jewish unity and activism to continue. Time for Peace was created to be just that framework; one that provides an emotional and practical forum to maintain that global sense of Jewish unity and cohesion, only this time — without a crisis.

The goal is to bridge the gaps in Jewish society let that achdut spread out to the world.
